Create an Organization Account
The first login may require users to input additional information to fully set up their account.
Creating an Organization Account
- Click on the "Create Organizational Account" button situated on the right side of the dashboard.
- Fill in the form with the following details to set up your organization account:
- Organization Name: Enter a unique name for your organization or team.
- Team Description: (Optional) Provide a description about what your team is working on.
- Domain Restriction: Check the box if you want to allow other users with the same email domain to join into your organization automatically.
- Click on the "Create" button to set up your organization account.
Admin Approval Process
After creating your organization account, you will receive a message from the PostQode admin team informing you that your account is under review.
The PostQode admin team will review your details to ensure everything is accurate and secure. You will receive a confirmation email once your organization account is approved.
Joining an Existing Organization
If you prefer to join an existing organization, do these steps:
- On the dashboard, you will see a list of organizations that you can join (If the "Domain Restriction" is enabled, you will see a list of organizations with the same email domain as yours).
- Click on the "Join" button adjacent to the organization name you wish to join.
- Your request will be sent to the organization owner for approval. You will receive a notification once your request is accepted or rejected.
Managing the Domain Restrictions
If you have created an organization account, do these steps to manage the domain restrictions:
- Click on "Organization Settings" button in your dashboard.
- Toggle the option to allow or disallow users with the same email domain to join your organization.
- Click on the "Save" button.
Accepting or Rejecting Join Requests
When you are the organization owner and you want to accept a request from a user who wants to join your organization, do these steps:
- Navigate to the Team Members Section: Go to your organization dashboard and click on the "Team Members" section.
- Switch to Requests: The toggle button allows you to switch to the "Requests" view.
- Accept or Reject Requests: Review the join requests and click either the "Accept" icon to allow the user to join your organization or the "Reject" icon to deny the request.
